A new build of GuardianForge has been released! Here is a list of what’s new & fixed.

New Features

  • When creating a build, you can now see the stats for each item, as well as tier info for armor. The overall layout has been cleaned up as well. (image below)
  • A new option was added to Find Builds that allows you to share a link with all queries & filters applied. (image below)
  • An error reporting system has been added to automatically notify me when underlying issues occur in the system.

Bugs Fixed

  • There was a bug when switching between different V3 versions of subclasses where the various equipped items would not update to reflect the newly selected subclass.
  • A bug was fixed where some builds were not making it into the search results. The bug was fixed, and the search results have been backfilled so the list should be current going forward.

Other: Front End Rearchitected

The underlying structure of GuardianForge has been significantly rebuilt to improve performance and speed up build times when releasing new features & fixes. Beyond some minimal style tweaks, this should largely go unnoticed to users. However, some bugs have surfaced during the process. Here is a list of all the known bugs:

  • The viewport is not reset when navigating between various pages, causing users to have to scroll to the top manually.
  • There may be a horizontal scroll bar appearing in the App section when a build is loading.
  • Updating builds is currently not working as expected.
  • Error/notification alerts may appear higher in the view than intended (they should be pinned to the lower right corner of the screen at all times).
  • Social links are not being displayed on user profiles in the App section.
  • In the Blog section, the About & Docs links in the footer do not redirect as intended. Clicking these links a second time will bring the user to the correct page.
